Welcome to the College of Social Sciences and Public Policy (COSSPP) at Florida State University! We are FSU's third-largest college with 12 academic units and 12 centers and institutes, our award-winning faculty produce leading research in their fields. We are excited to kick off the Fall 2026 semester with our new and returning students!

Geography Department Colloquium Featuring Young-An Kim, Ph.D.
Join us for our first Fall Colloquium on Friday, Sept. 11, from 4–5 p.m. in the DeVoe L. Moore Conference Room (BEL150E). Dr. Young-An Kim will present "Analyzing the Temporal Exclusivity of Crime: A Circular Statistical Approach Based on Complex Vector Space." FSU Researcher Receives NASA Grant to Map Extreme Heat and Protect Public Health
A collaborative, interdisciplinary team with researchers from Florida State University’s College of Social Sciences and Public Policy has received an $840,000 grant from NASA’s Health and Air Quality Applied Sciences Team.
