The Social Science Scholars Program, housed within the College of Social Sciences and Public Policy, is a highly competitive leadership development program for exceptional undergraduates in the College. Students participate in a leadership seminar in the spring semester that prepares them for internships, research, and service projects the following summer semester. Students then finish the program in the fall by completing a reflection course.

“I think that the Social Science Scholars program is the most impactful group of people on Florida State’s campus,” Delaney Williams, a 2023 Social Science Scholar, said. “I am inspired every day by the members of my cohort and I’m so grateful for the support that we’ve received to follow our passions.”

The 2023 cohort graduates this semester, while the 2024 cohort of 18 students are completing summer projects.

We wish the 2023 cohort the best of luck in their endeavors beyond Florida State and the 2024 Scholars the best of luck in their internships!
