The application deadline for Summer 2025 admission to a a Combined Pathway Program through the College of Social Sciences & Public Policy is March 15 and the deadline for Fall 2025 admission is July 1.

What are Combined Pathways?
Combined Pathway programs allow undergraduate students to get a head start on their graduate studies by earning up to 12 credit hours of graduate credit as an undergraduate student.
The College of Social Sciences & Public Policy has combined pathways programs open to students in any undergraduate major on campus to pursue coursework towards one of the following master’s degrees:
- Applied American Politics and Policy (Political Science)
- Demography
- Geographic Information Science (Geography)
- Public Administration
- Public Health
- Urban & Regional Planning
How to Apply to a Combined Pathway
Submit a completed application by the deadline below for the semester in which you intend to begin enrolling in graduate coursework for a combined pathway program.
Applications are submitted by filling out the Combined Pathway Application Survey.
You may review information needed for any and all of the combined pathway programs in which you are interested in the application form. Then, apply for the specific program in which you would like to begin taking courses.
