Biography
Tanya has served as the Assistant Dean for Academic Affairs since December 2018 after joining the COSSPP Office of Academic Affairs in 2015. She oversees a variety of academic matters throughout the College at both the graduate and undergraduate levels including admissions, academic advising, and graduation clearances.
Prior to being named the Assistant Dean, she served first as Assistant and then Associate Director for COSSPP Academic Affairs. From 2007-2015 she worked in various academic advising and student services roles at Florida State through the Division of Undergraduate Studies. Within the Advising First Center for Academic Planning, she served first as an academic advisor and then as the the program coordinator.
During her time in Undergraduate Studies, Tanya won the university-wide 2010-11 Undergraduate Advising Award as well as multiple advising awards and recognitions through the Division and the Advising First office.
