Students can find all official information regarding University dates and deadlines for the Summer 2026 semester on FSU’s Academic Calendar here. The deadlines listed on this site are what students are held accountable to.
Undergraduate students who are interested in: A) Changing a letter-graded course to S/U grading basis or B) Dropping courses on their own (prior to 7th week deadline) or using a one-time late drop (prior to 12th week deadline), please refer to the dates and information below. If you have already used your one-time late drop previously as an upper-division student, you are not eligible to use it again.
Note: if you are a double major or dual degree student, all of these requests are reviewed by your primary academic dean’s office listed on your account.
If you are a lower-division student (pre- in your major), contact undergraduatestudies@fsu.edu for instructions or questions.
For questions on how these changes may impact your degree requirements or graduation timeline, please contact cosspp-advising@fsu.edu or meet with a COSSPP academic advisor.
For course drops or semester withdrawals (all courses from schedule) based on personal hardships or medical/mental health circumstances, review the instructions here on how to submit a petition.
