Upper Division Transfer Admissions Checklist
Transfer from a public Florida institution with an Associate of Arts (AA) degree posted with 60+ hours
- Submit official transcripts from all post-secondary institutions attended.
- Major prerequisites completed your application will be placed on HOLD if you are enrolled in courses required for the major prerequisite courses. An admissions recommendation will not be rendered until after FSU has received your final official transcript.
- 2.0 minimum GPA for non-limited access majors. Economics, a limited access major, requires a 2.5 all-work-attempted GPA for all attempted college courses, including dual enrollment courses. A 2.4999 is not a 2.5 for the Economics major. FSU does not honor grade forgiveness.
- If you are enrolled in ONLY the courses needed to complete your AA, a CONDITIONAL admissions recommendation may be made.
- Submit final transcripts showing your AA degree posted.
Transfer from any private or non-Florida public institution with 52+ hours
- Submit official transcripts from all post-secondary institutions attended.
- 3 hours of college level English
- 6 hours of college level English including a 2000 level English is preferred.
- Students are required to take ENC2135 in their first semester at FSU.
- 6 hours of college level Math
- If you have completed only 3 hours of math as required by your institution, you have the option of taking a CLEP exam
