Xue Gao

Biography

Xue Gao is an Assistant Professor at the Askew School of Public Administration and Policy at Florida State University. Her research focuses on the interplay between policy, politics, technology, and society in the energy transition process. Her research encompasses various aspects of the energy transition, including the policy process, evaluation of energy programs, innovation and entrepreneurship in renewable energy, and energy justice. Her research has been funded by the National Science Foundation and the Department of Energy. Her findings have been published in journals such as Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, Policy Studies Journal, Technovation, Energy Policy, and Global Environmental Politics. Dr. Gao currently serves as an Editor of Environmental Politics and an Associate Editor of The Electricity Journal.
