The Barnebey Lab, in cooperation with agency partners, helps to connect current graduate students with internship opportunities across the State of Florida and nationwide. These internships offer students a chance to work in professional planning settings on real projects, in both the public and private sectors. Recent internship placements include the StarMetro (Tallahassee’s transit agency), USDA Forest Service, the Florida Trail Association, and various departments within the State of Florida system, including the Department of Economic Opportunity (DEO), the Department of Transportation (DOT), and the Department of Emergency Management (DEM).
