Elisabeth Duggar – an FSU alumna (B.A. International Affairs ’25) – joined the 2025 Teach for America (TFA) corps and is currently completing her first year as a first grade teacher in the Washington, D.C., area where she empowers students through education.

Matthew Becker, Ph.D., – a two-time FSU alumnus (B.S. political science ’07, M.S. international affairs Matthew Becker, Ph.D. – a two-time FSU alumnus (B.S. Political Science ’07, M.S. International Affairs ’09) – was nominated by the U.S. Department of State to serve as a member of the U.S. Delegation to the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) as an international election observer. 

Alumni Spotlight: Ria Kapadia

Ria Kapadia – alumna (B.S. International Affairs ’25) – was accepted into the Master’s in International Relations degree program at IE University in Madrid, Spain, beginning in fall 2026.

In addition to her acceptance, Kapadia was awarded a €5000  (nearly $6,000) merit-based scholarship from the university.
