Student Spotlight: Sina Jangjoo

Sina Jangjoo – a Florida State University doctoral student in the Askew School of Public Administration and Policy – was awarded the FSU Graduate School Student Leadership Pursuit Award.

Urban and Regional Planning Graduates Celebrated at Spring 2025 Awards and Graduation Ceremony

FSU’s Department of Urban and Regional Planning (DURP) celebrated the graduation of 28 students at the William Johnston building on Friday, May 2.

“Congratulations to this year’s Urban and Regional Planning graduates. Our graduates have completed a rigorous and diverse set of courses, and many have already secured positions working for public agencies and consulting firms,” said Michael Duncan, Ph.D., department chair and professor of urban and regional planning. “We are excited to see the great work they will do in helping to achieve more sustainable and resilient communities.”
