Women’s Leadership Network Hosts FSU Distinguished Alumna, Doby Flowers

The College of Social Science and Public Policy Women’s Leadership Network (WLN) recently hosted Doby Flowers (B.S. Social Work ’71; M.S. Urban & Regional Planning ’73) for a luncheon and a conversation about leadership. Flowers shared advice for being a successful game changer in any field while reflecting on stories of her own leadership journey. 

Celebrate Black History Month with FSU’s Civil Rights Institute

Join Florida State University’s Civil Rights Institute (CRI) on Wednesday, Feb. 21 from 5:30 – 6:30 p.m. in the College of Medicine Auditorium to celebrate Black History Month. The event will feature a one-hour film screening from the 12-hour “Justice Sunday” series hosted by Clifton Davis as a tribute to Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s legacy.

Recognizing the Pioneering Contributions of Raymond F. Bellamy

Every day, the Bellamy Building at Florida State University welcomes thousands of students, faculty, staff, and visitors. Constructed in 1967, this building is home to 16 departments and interdisciplinary programs from the College of Social Sciences and Public Policy (COSSPP).
