The Interdisciplinary Social Sciences Alumni Chat is part of the COSSPP Careers in Action series, connecting students with alumni in their prospective fields.
The panel will feature two COSSPP Alumni who are involved in the Tallahassee community, Janet Hartman (B.S. in Interdisciplinary Social Science ’21) and David Grimes (B.S. in Interdisciplinary Social Science ’08).
Janet Hartman is the Executive Director of the Florida Public Safety Institute at Tallahassee State College. Hartman has more than 30 years of experience in the public safety sector and is committed to the growth and development of her field.
David Grimes is the staff director at the Florida House of Representatives. In this position, Grimes consults with the Democratic Caucus on critical issues and manages operations. Grimes is dedicated to making a positive impact on his local community.
