COSSPP Faculty panel discussion and Q&A

COSSPP faculty, mark your calendars to join us on October 5, from 1-2 p.m. in the DeVoe L. Moore Conference Room (Bellamy 150E) for a panel discussion and Q&A session on “How to Write a Competitive Grant Proposal.”

The panel will be moderated by Associate Dean of Research Stephanie Pau, Ph.D., featuring the following faculty:

  • Lonna Atkeson, Ph.D., Director of the LeRoy Collins Institute and LeRoy Collins Eminent Scholar in Civic Education and Political Science
  • Dennis Smith, Planner-in-Residence, Department of Urban and Regional Planning
  • Miles Taylor, Ph.D., Director of the Pepper Institute on Aging and Public Policy and Professor of Sociology
  • Chris Uejio, Ph.D, Associate Professor of Geography and Associate Professor of Behavioral Sciences and Social Medicine

This event is a part of FSU’s Discovery Days, a weeklong event to celebrate research, creativity, and discovery at FSU, hosted by the Office of Research from October 2-7. 

Open to Faculty, Postdoctoral Scholars, and Graduate Students, this event will highlight the experience and advice from our panelists on pursuing and obtaining federal and state contracts and grants. In addition to the panel discussion, please come with questions for our panelists!
