Biography
Elif Basaran, Ph.D., earned her doctorate in Economics from the Pennsylvania State University in 2026. Dr. Basaran is a Visiting Teaching Faculty I in the Department of Economics. She currently teaches large sections of Principles of Micro and Macro. Her research interests include Development and Labor Economics, with a particular focus on migration and regional inequality.
