Biography
Vivek Moorthy, Ph.D., earned his doctorate in economics from the University of Notre Dame in 2022. Prior to joining Florida State, Dr. Moorthy spent 3 years as an Assistant Professor at College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, Massachusetts. His research interests lie in both development economics and economic demography, with a recent focus on how culture and religion mediate economic decision-making related to those domains. His research has published in academic outlets such as the Economic Journal and the American Economic Journal: Applied Economics.
