“Overall the economic ideas and principles taught are directly applicable outside the classroom. But more than that the work expected of us has also been helpful. Specifically report writing and presenting, and especially the coding. All these things help develop students who have real job skills, experience working in groups, unique technical skills, and a problem solving mentality. I would say all 4 core classes filled a necessary piece in the program.” -Class of 2024
Summer Semester
| ECO5973 | Applied Master’s Project | 6 hours |
| ECO5xxx | Elective: Machine Learning in Applied Economics | 3 hours |
In addition to their regular course work, students can take workshops with instats.org or sit for the SAS Certification exam.
