The Master of Applied Politics & Policy (MAAPP) program celebrated the graduation of its 16 students at the Florida Capitol on Thursday, December 12.

The ceremony featured Florida State University President Richard McCullough, Ph.D., who presented the commencement address. Dr. McCullough also joined the 16 graduates for the “Sine Die” hanky drop, which mirrors the “Sine Die” handkerchief drop that signals the end of the Florida Legislative Session each year.

“This graduating class set the standard for excellence in the classroom and the political arena and we are so proud of all they accomplished” said MAAPP Director Brad Kile, Ph.D. “We are thrilled that FSU President Richard McCullough delivered inspiring words to our graduates to mark this special occasion.”

MAAPP is a top national master’s program for applied learning in several political fields, including campaigns, fundraising, political communications, lobbying, legislative affairs, and more. The program’s 500+ alumni are some of today’s top political professionals in the Florida and Washington, D.C. political arenas. For more information about the program, click here
