Originally launched under the leadership of Dean Emeritus David Rasmussen, Ph.D. (Dean, 2003-2016), as COSSPP’s Get More Than a Degree initiative, The Future is Made in Bellamy continues to reflect the college’s mission: preparing students for the workforce and to contribute to their communities, tackling real-world problems with insight, skill, and purpose.



Develop leadership skills

- Engage in service with registered student organizations, honor societies, and COSSPP’s Student Leadership Council

Get started on graduate school with Combined Pathways
- The College offers six combined pathways programs in Public Health, Urban and Regional Planning, Applied American Politics and Policy, Demography, Geographic Information Science, and Public Administration
Develop skills for lifelong success and wellness
- Participate in COSSPP’s various labs and internship programs with our departments, centers, and institutes
- Work with a peer mentor or attend workshops by the Unconquered by Debt Program and develop financial wellness
