Teresa Roach, PhD

Biography

Teresa Roach, Ph.D., earned her doctorate in Sociology from Florida State University in 2015. Dr. Roach is an Associate Teaching Professor​ and Director of Sociology Undergraduate Studies at FSU. She teaches a number of courses in the Sociology Department and Public Health program, including the core requirements for both the Sociology and Public Health majors. Most recently, Dr. Roach has developed a comprehensive internship program for Sociology majors intended to prepare sociology major students for the job market and graduate school. Dr. Roach uses innovative teaching methods in her classroom and has been the recipient of several college and university teaching and service awards.
