Assistantships
We have a limited number of assistantship positions. Assistantships are appointed on a semesterly basis, based on program demands and budgetary constraints. There is no guarantee that if you are appointed for one semester, you will be re-appointed the following semester. Students who are awarded an assistantship will either support the program by engaging in clerical work or support faculty in their teaching. Each applicant to the MPH program is evaluated for an assistantship. No separate application is required.
The public health program at FSU is an interdisciplinary practice-based program. Most of our faculty do not have ongoing research grants. Please do not contact faculty directly regarding assistantship opportunities.

The Linkage Institutes’ Out-of-State Tuition Exemption program provides international students from eligible countries with the opportunity to apply for a waiver of the out-of-state portion of tuition. Selection is competitive and students must apply to the appropriate Linkage Institute directly.
