Scholarships

The program has gracious donors that have funded student scholarships through the FSU Foundation. Below are the two scholarships in the program. These awards cycles typically open in the spring semester. Students will need to write a personal statement demonstrating how they demonstrate these characteristics. Students must also go on FS4U and fill out the general application.

Congressman Jason and Kelly Altmire Endowment Fund 

Recipient must be a full-time senior or graduate student in the College of Social Sciences and Public Policy majoring in Public Health policy with a minimum 3.5 GPA who demonstrates ambition and maturity through campus involvement and leadership, internships, employment, community service, faculty recommendations and/or overcoming significant challenges. 

Award: $1,000

Christopher Matos Scholarship 

The recipient of this scholarship must be a current MPH student who demonstrates ambition, maturity, hard work, good character and financial need. 

Award: $2,000
