Bryan Gonzalez – a Master of Public Administration (MPA) student and COSSPP alumnus – recently completed his Fall 2023 Internship for the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute (CHCI) in Washington, D.C.
Audrey K. Chisholm, Esq. – a COSSPP alumnus (B.S. International Affairs ‘04) – was recently awarded The Inc. 5000 award, for the third consecutive year.
Renee O’Connor – COSSPP alumna and current second-year graduate student majoring in Instructional Learning and Technology Services – recently testified about freedom of expression for educators in Florida in front of the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights (ICCPR) at the United Nations with the Community Justice Project in Geneva, Switzerland.
Susan A. MacManus, Ph.D. – two-time COSSPP Alum (B.A. Political Science ‘68 and Ph.D. Political Science ‘75) – has been honored by numerous publications for her work as a prominent political scientist.
Elizabeth B. Goldsmith, Ph.D. – a COSSPP alumna (B.A. Interdisciplinary Social Science with an emphasis on American History ’71) – recently engaged in a conversation with First Lady Jill Biden, Ed.D., at the White House about their mutual roles as college professors.
Matthew Becker, Ph.D. – a COSSPP alum (B.S. Political Science ‘07 and M.S. International Affairs ‘09) – was fully funded by The U.S. Russia Foundation (USRF) to attend the “Multimedia Methods in Public Scholarship” workshop hosted by the Melikian Center for Russian, Eurasian, and East European Studies at Arizona State University.
Steve Jenks, Ph.D. – a COSSPP alumnus (B.S. African American Studies ‘10) – recently authored the chapter titled “A National Analysis of Post-Graduation Plan Development by Rurality and Race” in the book “Race and Rurality: Considerations for Advancing Higher Education Equity.”
Janice Robertson – an Askew School alumna – was selected as a NASA John F. Kennedy Space Center Chief Financial Officer (CFO) in June of 2023, after dedicating 34 years of service to the Agency.
Emmabella Rudd – a COSSPP alumna (B.S. Public Health ‘22) – graduated with her M.S. in Health and the Public Interest from Georgetown University after completing an internship with the White House as a Policy Intern for the Vice President’s Policy Office.
Gia Canepa – a two-time FSU graduate with a Master of Public Administration – landed her first postgraduate job as a data specialist with The Legal Aid Society of Palm Beach County.
