COSSPP Student Receives 2024 Global Citizen Award

Nadia Rassech, an undergraduate student studying International Affairs and Middle Eastern Studies, received the 2024 Global Citizen Award from FSU’s Center for Global Engagement (CGE). The award recognizes outstanding students who have actively engaged in intercultural initiatives on campus or abroad and who have exemplified leadership in fostering a global community among FSU students.

COSSPP Student Places Third at the Association of Private Enterprise Education 2024 Undergraduate Research Competition

COSSPP Student Camila Aponte (Political Science and International Affairs ’24) placed 3rd out of 29 presentations at the Association of Private Enterprise 2024 Education Undergraduate Research Competition, representing 12 universities and colleges. The DeVoe L. Moore Center had four students presenting in the competition. 

3 COSSPP Specialized Faculty Promoted

The College of Social Sciences and Public Policy (COSSPP) announced the promotions of three specialized faculty members.

“These successes continue our 100% success rate over the last decade-plus in seeing candidates that we advance to the University level being approved for promotion,” said COSSPP Dean Timothy Chapin. “While these promotions rest primarily in the excellence of the faculty that we hire, it also reflects the supportive and productive work environment we have collectively established within the College.”

COSSPP Student Receives Undergraduate Humanitarian of the Year Award

Florida State University senior Nadia Rassech received the Center for Leadership and Social Change’s 2024 Undergraduate Humanitarian of the Year Award.  

The prestigious Undergraduate Humanitarian of the Year Award recognizes students who exhibit tremendous commitment to service.
