National Attraction: FSU Doubles Number of National Academy Members on Faculty

With recent hires in the College of Medicine and the College of Social Sciences and Public Policy, Florida State University has doubled the number of its faculty who are members of the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine, a prestigious organization that unites leading researchers from around the country.

Patricia Homan Named as Raymond Flavious Bellamy Chair in Population Studies

COSSPP Hosts First-Ever Friendly Disagreement Event with Village Square Featuring John Wood Jr. and Ciaran O’Connor

FSU’s College of Social Sciences and Public Policy hosted its first-ever Friendly Disagreement event in partnership with Village Square Tallahassee on Monday, March 24. The event featured John Wood Jr. and Ciaran O’Connor, two dear friends who disagree vehemently on a range of political and social issues who engaged in a spirited conversation that showcased how people can disagree on many things and still remain friends.
