Bella Suarez – a fourth-year student majoring in Political Science – served as an ambassador for FSU’s main campus while abroad in Valencia, Spain during Summer 2022 as part of the Social Science Scholars Program.
Isabella Frazier – a fourth-year student majoring in International Affairs – was accepted into the Master’s program for Human Rights and Politics at the London School of Economics.
As a child, Elena Villamagna knew she wanted to pursue a career in maternal care and all it encompassed. Now, as a junior at Florida State University, she has taken advantage of FSU’s programs to fine-tune exactly what that means to her.
The College of Social Sciences and Public Policy Student Leadership Council will be hosting the North American premiere of “Stepping Softly on the Earth,” an award-winning documentary by Assistant Professor of Public Health Marcos Colón, Ph.D.
Laura Escher – a fifth-year student majoring in International Affairs with a concentration in Economics and a minor in French – was selected to be a 2022 Torchbearer 100 Inductee for her significant leadership and service accomplishments at Florida State.

Isabella Riquezes – third-year student majoring in Political Science – was recently selected to be part of the Hispanic Scholarship Fund’s Media and Entertainment Summit.

Senior Priscilla Reyes entered Florida State University eager to learn about public health. And learn she did, through her involvement in campus health programs, volunteer opportunities, and establishment of an organization for future healthcare professionals.
Nearly two years after the COVID-19 pandemic began, student groups are finally regaining a sense of normalcy, hosting in-person events and traveling to conferences across the continent. The College is home to numerous organizations that help connect students to opportunities both locally and nationally.
